So Tuesday was Election day… Before that day, everybody here was so str
essed. We couldn’t say who was going to win, things happened every hour and changed the tendency. Then, the Election day arrived. During the day, to relax the atmosphere, we organized our élections. Personally, I voted for the Cocktail Party ahahaha!
Then, we watched the results (the official ones) at school with cookies and popcorn. We learned how the system works and followed with attention. And then the result was there: Trump is the 45th President of the United States. On Wednesday, everybody was depressed; even now, on Friday, people still don’t believe that it happened. Personally, now that it’s done, I feel like people are exaggerating. It’s not the end of the world and 4 years are short. But it’s maybe hard to think about it because we don’t live here so there are certainly issues we don’t know about etc.
So now, let’s see what happens.
Donc, mardi c’était jour d’élection… Avant ça, tout le monde était super stressé. La tendance balançait à tout moment donc c’était vraiment dur de faire un pronostic. Donc mardi, pour détendre l’atmosphère, on a organisé nos propres élections. Perso, j’ai voté pour le Cocktail Party ahahaha !
Ensuite, on a regardé les résultats (les vrais) à l’école avec des cookies et des popcorn. On a appris comment fonctionne le système et on a suivi avec beaucoup d’attention. Et le résultat est tombé : Trump est le 45ème Président des Etats-Unis. Mercredi, tout le monde était déprimé ; même maintenant, les gens ne réalisent toujours pas. Personnellement, maintenant que c’est arrivé, j’ai l’impression que les gens exagèrent. C’est pas la fin du monde et 4 ans, c’est pas si long. Après, c’est peut-être dur de juger. Ne vivant pas ici, on est certainement pas au courant de tous les problèmes et tout ça.
Reste à voir ce que l’avenir nous réserve.
