In the weekends in DC, there’s a must try you don’t have to miss : Bethesda Bagels. Why in the weekends? Well, because in the weekends they have rainbow bagels. RAINBOW bagels. How amazing is this? I just love them 😍 I had it with fried eggs and tomatoes this time and it was absolutely yummy!
We then headed to the Arboretum. It’d been forever that I wanted to go there but never had the occasion, so it was a discovery for everyone. The cool thing there, is that there’s a part of the Capitol. The columns that you see on the pictures were part of the East portico of the Capitol in 1828. But because of a technical and architectural problem, they’ve been removed and placed at the Arboretum in 1958. It’s so impressive when you think of all the history those columns have seen. The Japanese and Chinese section of the park were beautiful as well. It’s a way to travel while staying in DC, it’s awesome!
Le week-end à Washington, y a un must try qu’il faut pas louper : Bethesda Bagels. Pourquoi? Parce que le week-end, ils ont des bagel arc-en-ciel. Des bagel ARC-EN-CIEL. C’est pas incroyable ? Je les adore 😍 J’en ai pris un avec des œufs et des tomates cette fois et c’était super bon !
Ensuite, on est allées visiter l’Arboretum. Ca faisait hyper longtemps que je voulais y aller mais j’avais jamais eu l’occasion d’y aller, donc c’était une découverte pour tout le monde. Le truc cool là-bas, c’est qu’on y trouve une part du Capitol. Les colonnes que vous voyez sur les photos faisaient partie du portique est du Capitol en 1828. Mais à cause de problèmes techniques et architecturaux, elles ont été déplacées à l’Arboretum en 1958. C’est impressionnant quand même quand on pense à toute l’histoire que ces colonnes ont vu. Les parties japonaises et chinoises du parc sont aussi magnifiques. C’est un moyen de voyager sans sortir de la ville, c’est génial !
