OMG, my first concert in DC was aboslutely amazing! The Fillmore is very similar to the club where I always go in Switzerland, it’s crazy! I was surprised that less than one hour before the doors opening, there wasn’t a lot of people outside. And most surprising, as I was on the second row and the people on the front row weren’t tight, two guys let me go between them. That’s something I ahd never seen before!
Four bands were playing. Source opened the show. They played only 3 songs because they write only very long songs ahaha It’s not really the music I usually listen to but it was ok as an opening act. And I met the guys at the end and they were very nice 🙂 From Ashes To New were interesting. They mix metal and rap and the result is not that bad. Hellyeah was definitely the worse concert of the evening. They’re photogenic and the singer has really cool speeches but it’s totally the music I don’t like. But some riffs were catchy. And finally, In Flames. They were per-fect. I made a sign that said « Switzerland is here » in swedish and they were so surprised and happy when they saw it. Andres even came to me to « high five » me with his finger (I was to small to lean enough ahaha) at the end of the show ❤ ❤
OMG, mon premier concert à Washington était incroyable ! Le Fillmore ressemble aux Docks, c’est fou ! J’étais surprise qu’il n’y aie pas plus de monde à l’entrée moins d’une heure avant l’ouverture des portes. Mais plus surprenant, comme les gens au premier rang étaient pas vraiment serrés, deux gars m’ont laissée me poser entre eux. Chose qui ne m’est jamais arrivée en Suisse ahah
Il y avait quatre groupe. Source ont ouvert le show. Ils ont joué que 3 morceaux car ils n’écrivent que des longs morceaux ahaha C’est pas vraiment le genre de musique que j’écoute d’habitude mais pour une première partie, c’était sympa. En plus, j’ai les ai rencontrés à la fin et ils étaient super chous 🙂 From Ashes To New étaient intéressants. Ils mélangent metal et rap et le résultat est pas si mauvais. Hellyeah était définitivement le pire concert de la soirée. Les speeches du chanteurs étaient cool mais c’est vraiment le genre de musique que j’aime pas. Mais quelques riffs étaient catchy. Et enfin, In Flames. Ils étaient par-faits ! J’avais fait un panneau « la Suisse est là » en suédois et ils étaient super surpris et contents de le voir. Andres m’a même fait un check avec son index (j’étais trop petite pour me pencher assez pour un vrai high five ahaha) à la fin du concert ❤ ❤
